Orient-Express Hotels, in partnership with Peru Hotel S.A. announces that the Hotel Monasterio has received international recognition in the past few months.

The Hotel Monasterio, Cuzco was recognized in Travel + Leisure Magazine’s 2002 “World’s Best” Readers’ Poll. The Hotel was named in the top list for “Mexico and Central and South America.”  Hotels were chosen based on the responses from readers and included scores for rooms, ambience, service and value. To identify who is delivering the best in travel right now, Travel + Leisure conducted a survey of its readers for the last seven years. 2002 marks the first time an interactive (Internet) questionnaire was included in the survey.
  
The August edition of Elite Traveler magazine included the Hotel Monasterio in it’s first annual list ‘Pure Decadence’ , which features the best suites around the globe.

In a recent edition, the magazine ‘Hotels’, named the Hotel Monasterio in it’s Luxury collection, with special reference to the unique oxygen-enrichment system in the hotel.
