The Hotel Monasterio is proud to announce the reopening of its Restaurant Illariy. Now, totally refurbished, the Illariy has been redesigned to make the most of its position opening onto the main patio of the hotel. This has been done by expanding the area of the Restaurant to encompass the archways of the cloisters, thus allowing our guests unimpeded views of the patio, with its soft fountain, 300 year old Cedar tree and the nearby sacred mountain of Sacsayhuaman.
Another feature of the Restaurant is its magnificent gallery of antique golden mirrors, each mirror different from the other, but all affording the guest who happens to be seated facing inwards, glimpses of the same spectacular views of the main patio.
Chef, Michael Raas celebrates the reopening of the restaurant with a new menu featuring Peruvian cuisine highlighting local dishes from Cuzco (Cusco) and the Andes as well as international cuisine with a distinctive light touch and fresh approach to well-known favourites.
